MOOREVILLE - Doris Richey, 67, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013, at her home. She was born Jan. 1, 1946, in Starkville to Henry Alvin and Helen Louise Ellington Ivy. She was a longtime employee of Tecumseh Products and worked later for Daybrite. She was a Baptist, and she enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening, watching TV and shopping off of the Home Shopping Network. She loved her cats.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charlie Ganey officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, Bobby Richey of Mooreville; one brother, Billy Ivy (Retha) of Wyatte; four sisters, Nora Beauchamp of Moss Point, Mary Cox (Bobby) of New Albany, Evelyn Ivy (Phil) of Myrtle and Betty Hall (Wayne) of Ecru; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Alisa Russell; and three siblings, Jimmy Ivy, Johnny Ivy and Berneice Nobles.

Pallbearers will be John Ivy, Adam Hardy, Tony Ivy, Alex Ivy, David Sansing, Rob Nobles, Mike Nobles and Chris Dye.

Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Hardin, Josh Hardin and Doug Griffin.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today and from noon until 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
