Donald Howard Hamm, 76, of Pontotoc, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026, at MS Veterans Home in Oxford. He was born in Sommerville, TN to Howard Franklin Hamm and Vera Christine Credille Gordon. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp and fought in Vietnam. He was a welder by trade and was very passionate about his work. He enjoyed woodwork, building furniture, and creating many beautiful pieces. In his younger years he was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. He loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with family.

He is survived by his daughter, Dona Stout (Kelly) of Blue Springs; his son, Chad Hamm (Amber) of Pontotoc; grandsons, Scottie Elder, Jacob Stout (Kailey), and Andrew Miller (Kayla); two great grandchildren, Hagan and Kaybri; sister, Pat Cruse (Mike) of Pontotoc; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Phyllis Swayne; and niece, Leigh Ann Putt.

Visitation will be from 2-3 Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 3 Sunday, August 9, 2026, with Bro. Corey Collins officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Corey Cruse, Reid Cruse, Ryan Ray, David Orman, Mike Snow, and Austin Snow.
