Olive Branch - Dennis Wayne Lyle, 59, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at his home. He was born April 19, 1952 in Amory to William and Lois Lyle. He was a member of Palestine Baptist Church. He was a 1970 graduate of Shannon High School. He served full time in the Mississippi National Guard for many years and was currently employed with FedEx as a Senior Aircraft Mechanic. He enjoyed fishing and working on odd jobs. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his dogs.
Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. William Holliday officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lyle of Olive Branch; two daughters, Shiloh Carr of Booneville and Randi Carter of Olive Branch; his mother, Lois Lyle of Tupelo; one sister, Cherry Kidd of Corinth; four grandchildren, Dennis Carr, Hannah Carr, Kaitlyn Carter and Andrew Carr; his best friend, William Riley of Belden and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Lyle Carr, William Riley, Ricky Jaggers, Lane Robbins, Wade Hudson and Kevin Semmendinger.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 Tuesday.
