Tupelo--Debbie Stevens, 53, died Monday, January 17, 2011, at her home. She was born June 18, 1957, in Sacramento, Calif. to Wardell and Vera Pittman. She graduated from Pillow Academy and Mississippi Delta Junior College of Nursing. She was a longtime employee of Crawford and Company as their manager and nurse. She enjoyed shopping, gong out to eat and traveling. She loved her family and playing with her grandchildren who affectionately called her Nanny.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Lee Memorial Park with Bro. Bobby Holland officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include two sons, Wess Stevens (Angie) and John Stevens, all of Tupelo; her mother, Vera Parker (Mitch) of Decatur; her brother, Larry Pittman (Janice) of Saltillo; one step-sister, Angie Parker of Forrest; five grandchildren, Taylor Ositis, Dalton Stevens, Carson Owen,, Corben Owen and Candice Stevens.

She was preceded in death by her father. Her sons will serve as pallbearers.
Visitatioon will be 12:30 to 2 p.m. Friday.
