MoorevilleDeanna Browning Hammons, 53, passed away at her home on Friday, December 1, 2017. She was born November 14, 1964 in Clarksdale, MS to Lewis Henry Browning Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Springer Browning. Deanna was a graduate of Clarksdale High School. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, taking care of them and cooking for them. Deanna enjoyed watching reality television, especially the cooking channel. She also took every opportunity possible to watch her granddaughter cheer. One of her favorite times was a cruise she and her husband took together. Deanna loved the Christmas season and will be greatly missed as they go through the holidays without her by their side.

A celebration of her life will be held 2 PM Wednesday at the Lee Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be noon until service time Wednesday. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Deanna leaves behind her husband Jeff Hammons of Mooreville; her daughter, Ashley Ragsdale of Mooreville; her son, Jeffrey Hammons, Jr. (Kim) of Treemont; and three grandchildren, Shelby Ragsdale and Layluh and Eastlyn Hammons; one brother, Vince Browning (Regina) of Clarksdale; a sister-in-law, Debbie Davis of Crossville, TN and a brother in law, James Hammons (Chris) of Lake Piomingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Eddie Browning.

Pallbearers will be Craig Carson, Tony Armstrong, Jeff Aldridge, Charlie Whitlow, Gene Messersmith, and James Hammons. Honorary pallbearers will be the Flowers Bakery Distributors.
