Charles Edward Holt of Belden, age 72, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his home. He was born in Wyandotte, MI on December 20, 1952 to Harold Holt and Isabell Carson Holt. He was a member of Celebration Church in Tupelo. After retirement he was a hospice chaplin and a member of prayer warriors. He was an avid gun collector, he enjoyed gardening, woodworking, he was a master piddler, and most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his two daughters, Heather Johnson (Lines) and Sarah Mooney (B.J.);  special daughter, Jennifer Scaggs (Jared); sister, Cathleen Holt; brother, Ronald Holt (Linda); four grandchildren, Brittney Johnson (Zach), Nicholas Johnson, Brooklyn Johnson (T.J.), and Judah Mooney; four great grandchildren that affectionately called him "Papa Biscuit", Avery Johnson, Keelan Polk, Isaiah Polk, and Ariyah Polk; lifelong friend, Karen Polaski; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Christine Holt; his parents; his sisters, Marie Holt and Christi Miles
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be at 3:00 pm Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Mackey and Bro. Reggie Miller officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
