Carroll Waymond Coggin, 82, a lifelong resident of Plantersville, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at North Mississippi Gilmore Amory Hospital.  He was born June 12, 1943, to
Conner Houston Coggin and Erin Francis Coggin in the Richmond Community. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He spent most of his life working on his family farm that he took much pride in.

He is survived by children, Bruce Coggin (Robin) and Debra Coggin; one sister, Shirley Collier (Charles); six grandchildren, Joseph Coggin (Jessica), Mia Coggin, Jessica Smith, Anna McCallum, Bodie Witcher, and Telsey Witcher.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jane Coggin; his parents; and twin brother, Harrold Coggin.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Elder Ben Shettles and Elder Louis Sacran officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
