PLANTERSVILLE - Carrie Lee Kelly, 94, died Sunday, May 22, 2011, at the Cedar's Greenhouses. She was born Sept. 7, 1916, in Pontotoc County to Robert Wesley and Frances Pairlee Holcomb. She was a longtime seamstress, retiring from Sadler Industries. She was a longtime member of Verona Church of Christ. She enjoyed working in her flower garden, attending her church and raising a garden, which she did for many years.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Robbins officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include her sister, Flossie Monts of Plantersville; one brother, Robert Wesley Kelly Jr. of Nettleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Michael Glen Kelly, in 1977; three sisters, Nola Berryman, Grey Collier and Farrah Monts; and two brothers, Delmer Holcomb and Burdell Holcomb.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. today.
