Pontotoc - Brenda F. Raines, 62, died Wednesday at the Crossgates River Oaks Hospital. She was born May 20, 1949 in Pontotoc to the late Eddie Carl and Mauvleen Gilmore. She was a Service Rep. for BellSouth for many years and she attended The Orchard. She enjoyed quilting and reading. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services will be 2 PM Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bryan Collier officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include one daughter, Leslie Raines of Pontotoc; one son, Brad Fowler (Myra) of Pontotoc; one sister, Carlos Ann Segrest (Chan) of Shorter, AL; one brother, Dewayne Gilmore of Pontotoc; three grandchildren, Brandon Fowler, Matthew Fowler and Brandi Fowler; two nephews, Kevin Gilmore and Michael Gilmore; five nieces, Ashley Gilmore, Rebecca Gilmore, Tona Justice (John), Melissa Peterson (Derek) and Lisa Blue; four great-nephews, Jacob Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Carter Peterson and Noah Xavier; three great-nieces, Christi Johnson, Leighton Justice and Avery Grace Peterson.
