Brenda Jackson-Mann, 79, left her earthly home on July 5, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center following a lengthy illness.Born on October 3, 1946, in Metcalfe County, Kentucky, Brenda was the daughter of Ralph Watson Paull and Ollie Lee Harlan Paull. She dedicated many years of her life to the banking industry, beginning her career at New Farmers National Bank in Glasgow, Kentucky, and later retiring from Renasant Bank in Tupelo, Mississippi. Through her work, she built lasting relationships and was known for her kindness, dedication, and warm spirit. She was a faithful member of the The Church at Andrew’s Chapel.Brenda married the love of her life, Carl David Jackson, and together they helped raise five children. Their home was always full of love, laughter, activity, and they taught their family that being a family is not defined by blood alone but by love, faith, and commitment to one another. Brenda and David shared 31 wonderful years together and enjoyed many adventures before his passing in 2013.Later in life, Brenda found love again when she married Jimmy Mann. Having both experienced tremendous loss, they brought comfort, companionship, and happiness to each other's lives. Although their time together was brief before cancer took Jimmy's life, they shared a special bond and treasured the time they had together.Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Carl David Jackson and Jimmy Mann; her brother, Mervin Paull, whom she never had the opportunity to meet this side of Heaven; and her daughter, Christina Jackson of Mooreville, Mississippi. 2 sister -in laws Sharon Jackson and Vickie Jackson of Glasgow, Ky, 2 great grandsons, Westin & Ryder of Mooreville, Ms.She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children: Tammy Jackson of Mooreville, Mississippi;Donnie Taylor of Glasgow, Kentucky; Tracy Deckard (Scott) of Glasgow, Kentucky; and Tracy Brown (Bobby) of Blue Springs, Mississippi.She was a proud and loving grandmother to nine grandchildren: Erika (Andrew) Hanskiewicz, Nikki (Hunter) White, Morgan Thomas, Austin (Savanna) Turner, Hannah Jackson, Blake Sudduth, Cheyenne Taylor, Kelli Brown, and Eva Taylor. Her legacy continues through her ten great-grandchildren: Kaiden, Bryson, Tynzlee, Hayes, Henry, Acksten, Atalie, Hadley, Harlee, and Eli.She is also survived by two stepchildren, Brad (Tana) Mann and Tammy (Brett) Bramlett, as well as four step-grandchildren – Taylor(Jacob)Matthews, Colton Miller, Jordan Mann, and Courtney(Alan) Rooker4 step-great-grandchildren- Harrison, Aiden, Lainey Ruth, and Stella Mae.Brother-in-law Ernie(Charlene)Jackson, sister in-laws, Paulette (George) Vance, Nancy Berryman, and Phyllis (Stoney) McKinney all of Glasgow, Ky. Shirley Williams, Carolyn Wiley, Linda Broom, and Judy Newell all of Mississippi and a special friend Alvie Bulter of Fulton, Ms.Brenda leaves behind a large and loving family with a hole in their hearts that can never be filled. While they grieve her passing, they find comfort in knowing she is reunited with those who went before her. Her life was a testament to faith, love, resilience, and devotion to family. The countless memories she created and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Services will be 3 PM Thursday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Lance Carpenter officiatiing. Private burial will follow in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be 12-3 Thursday.
Pallbearers will be: Austin Turner, David Turner, Scott Deckard, Bobby Brown, Andrew Hanskiewicz.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the memorial fund at Lee Memorial Funeral Home.
