Bobbye Jean McMurry, 92, of Como, MS, passed away Monday, July 19, 2021, at Grenda Rehabilitation and Heath Care Center in MS. She was born April 29, 1929 to Ivan Theodore Walker and Vera Hubbard Walker in Kentucky.

She is survived by her children, Herman Murdock "Jr." (Brenda) of Kenton, TN, Elaine Fleury of Drummonds, TN, and Rhonda Ashe (Walter) of Como, MS; one sister, Sonya Brand of Riverside, AL; five grandchildren, Joey Murdock (Mary), Lisa Ritter (Mike), Jason Hungerford (Melissa), David Snider, and Shawanna Snider; ten great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John McMurry; her parents; one brother, Harold Walker; and two sisters, Wilma Dewberry and Gail Adams.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia Research.
