Bobby Carl Gilmore, 83, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 19, 2025, at The Meadows. He was born November 3, 1941 in Mooreville to Era and Mary Hussey Gilmore.  He worked over fifty years for Action/Lane Furniture in maintenance. He was a longtime member of Tupelo Freewill Baptist Church/Connect Church where he was active in his small group and Kids at Heart. He enjoyed working in his yard and tending to his flowers. He loved camping, shopping and finding a good place to eat.

Services will be 10 AM Saturday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Pierce officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Faith Mausoleum. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

He is survived by his children, Lesa Phillips, Steve Malone (Tammy), Tamera Curtis, Greg Malone (Sandra) and Kathie Rodriguez (Andrew); one sister, Martha Gilmore Dickerson; 17 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Gilmore; two brothers, Charles Gilmore and Era Gilmore, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Michael May, Randy May, Robert Stowe, Bubba Stowe, Greg Malone and Steve Malone.

Visitation will be 9 – 10 Saturday.
