Billie Lee Martin Clayton, 87, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  She was born November 25, 1937 to Roy Thomas Martin, Sr and Annie Inez Smith Martin  in Lee County, MS. She was a graduate of Tupelo High School.  She was a licensed hair dresser and owned and operated her beauty salon for many years.  She was a lifetime member of East Heights Baptist Church and she  enjoyed traveling with her church group and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Martha Martin Loden(Clifford) of Columbus, MS; her granddaughter, Vanessa Clayton Bullard; her grandson, Thomas Edward "Tommy" Clayton, III; her great grandson, Payton Bullard; and her great-great grandson, Anthony Bullard.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Thomas Edward Clayton, Jr.; her grandson, Jerold Clayton; her brothers, Roy Martin, Jr. and Carl L Martin; and her sister Sarah Becky Martin.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Friday, November 29, 2024  at Lee Memorial Funeral Home.   Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm in the chapel. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
