Billie Jean Keeton, 80, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at her home in Mantachie. She was born December 20, 1943 to Billbo Robinson and Gracie Lee Hodges Robinson in Sunflower County, MS. She was the restaurant manager at the Ramada Inn for many years and was very proud of her career. She enjoyed cooking, watching game shows on tv, and most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a christian in faith.
She is survived by two sons, James Davenport of Mantachie and Kenny Davenport (Sue) of Amory; God son, Randy Hoffman; two step daughters, Anita Keeton of Jackson and Sheila Kolle (Scott) of Starkville; six grandchildren, Alicia Sudduth, Adam Davenport, Lauren Griffin, Monica Sanders, Blake Davenport, and Darby Kolle; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Robison; and four sisters, Charlotte Vance, Shirley Creekmore, Nancy Milam, and Debbie Jeffcoat.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Keeton, her parents, stepson, Bubba Keeton; daughter-in-law, Sonia Davenport; sister, Judy Robinson; and brother, Allen Robinson.
Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Lee Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Bro. Jason Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Sanders, Blake Davenport, Adam Davenport, Matt Sudduth, Richie Creekmore, and Nicky Rutledge.
