VeronaBettie Jean Kelly, 81, died Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the Sanctuary Hospice House after a lengthy illness. She was born in Nettleton on January 28, 1933, the daughter of Murry and Betty Taylor. She was married for 45 years to William Kelly and spent her life as a homemaker, taking care of her family whom she loved greatly.

Graveside services will be 2 pm Thursday at Lee Memorial Park with Lenton Smith officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, DeWonne Warren (Ronnie) of Tupelo; two grandchildren, Kelly Dean Warren of Tupelo and William Taylor Warren of Oxford and her great-grandson, Hudson Murphy.
She was preceded in death by her husband William, who died in 1998; a brother Buddy Taylor and two sisters, Maveline Stephens and Odene Monaghan.
