Obituary

Bertha Mae Wilson, 92, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at the North MS Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born February 26, 1926 to W.K. and Jessie Bell Hester Parker. She worked hard all her life working for Shaw Manufacturing and Fortune. She enjoyed waitressing at Moore's Steakhouse. She was a Baptist and she enjoyed going to auctions and watching CMT. She was an accomplished cook and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Services will be 1 PM Wednesday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Truman Carter officiating. Private burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Beaty (James); three grandchildren, Teresa McDonald (David), Tanya Dickerson (Dewayne) and Tina Norwood (Clint); nine great-grandchildren, Andrew McDonald, Haley Dickerson, Amber Warren Buse (Kasey), Amanda Guyton (Devin), Karli Dickerson (Mark), Wesley Norwood, Lakyn Dickerson, Alex McDonald and Sadie Norwood; two great-great-grandchildren, Brayden McDonald and Aubrey Buse.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James A. Wilson; one brother, John Russell Parker.

Pallbearers will be Andrew McDonald, Alex McDonald, Devin Guyton, Kasey Buse, Mark McCoy and Cliff Norwood.

Visitation will be 10 – 1 Wednesday.
