Obituary
ShannonBertha Mae Harman, 89, died Monday, November 23, 2015, at the Aberdeen Care Center. She was born April 24, 1926, in Amory to Leonard and Mollie Franklin. A graduate of Nettleton High School, Bertha worked at Reeds Manufacturing and then as a hairdresser for many years. She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church in Shannon.
Graveside services will be 10 AM Wednesday at Shannon Cemetery with Bro. Cody Hensley officiating. There will be no visitation. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her sister, Beatrice Tubb of Amory; a cousin, Joyce Dexter (Dee) of Amory and her caregiver, Minnie Dillard (Willie) of Shannon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence and a son, Karl.
