TupeloBarbara E. Sheffield, 88, died Friday, September 8, 2012, at the Mitchell Center. A native of Germany, she had lived in Lee Acres since 1967. She met her husband, Thomas Sheffield during his military service. She worked as a nurse's aid.
There will be no public services. She will be entombed beside her husband in Lee Memorial Park Mausoleum. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by a daughter, three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
