Barbara Ann Magers Brock was born March 28, 1935, to Clayborne and Laverne Magers. She passed away peacefully at home with the care of North MS Medical Center Home Care and Hospice on April 18, 2026. 

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Charlie Austin "Chuck" Magers of Unity and Sandra Magers and Fiance Tim DeVaughn of Saltillo; one nephew, Dr. Danny Sanders and Family, several nieces, one sister-in-law, Linda Magers, a special friend Sarah Fikes, co-workers and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Brock, her parents, two sisters and one brother.

She was employed by the Social Security Administration for 48 years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Mantachie. She especially enjoyed reading and studying her Bible, singing in the choir and teaching Sunday School. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an avid Ole Miss fan.

She truly cared about helping people and took pride in her work. Known for her kindness, responsibility and strong work ethic, anyone who met her a the Social Security Administration office could count on her help with whatever they needed. She will be remembered  for her gentle, unwavering faithfulness and deeply caring, loving heart.

Services will be 5 PM Monday at Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Long Officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be 3-5 Monday. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Phil Lansdell, Dr. Danny Sanders, Dan Rainer, Eric Barber, Bishop Sanders and Randy Boyd. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Social Security Administration employees.
