Annie Mae Edwards Jennings, 79, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Diversicare of Tupelo. She was born January 29, 1947, in Jonas, AR to David and Annie Belle Edwards. She graduated from George Washington Carver High School, class of 1966. She was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. She worked at North Mississippi Medical Center over 40 years. She enjoyed watching western movies, listening to the radio, reading books, and talking to her friends.

She is survived by her children, Janet Humphrey and James Humphrey; three grandchildren; and her work family/ caretakers, Carolyn Wells, Barbara Crayton, Becky Blankenship, Kim Johnson, Sue Hawkins, and Twyla Crayton. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jennings and her parents.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, September 4, 2026, at Lee Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Forrest Sheffield officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
