Anita Rowland Hilliard
Amory - Anita Rowland Hilliard, 73, died Monday, September 8, 2014 at Sanctuary Hospice House. She was born September 1, 1941, in Selmer, Tennessee to U. P. and Bertha Armour Rowland. She was a graduate of Selmer High School and a member of Meadowood Baptist Church. She was a longtime employee of CKB appraisals where she was the office manager.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Thursday, September 11, 2014, at Lee Memorial Park with Bro. Mark Cayson officiating. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include two sons, Jeff Hilliard (Norma) of Shannon and Jay Hilliard (Jennifer) of Madison; four brothers, Carnell Rowland of Selmer, TN, Frank Rowland of Athens, AL, Jimmy Rowland (Patti) of Germantown, TN and Marty Rowland (Jane) of Afton, OK; four grandchildren, Matthew Hilliard (Kandi) of Shannon, Peyton Hilliard of Madison, Jennifer Mallette of Falls Church, VA and Nicolas Zupa of Broomfield, CO; three great-grandchildren, Jace Hilliard, Emerie Hilliard and Camdyn Hilliard.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Jan Anita Hilliard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sanctuary Hospice House.
Visitation will be 5 - 8 Wednesday.
The family offers a special thank you to the staff of Sanctuary Hospice House, especially the south wing.
