Allen Carzell Stancil, 76, went to be with the Lord after an extended illness.  He was born September 17, 1942 to Carzell Stancil and Pauline Queen in Mountain City, Georgia.  During his lifetime he worked for Bill Spreen Toyota and Mazda Dealerships in Atlanta.  In 1975 he moved to Mantachie, MS where he was employed with Pennsylvania Tire in Tupelo.  His last employment was with Union National Insurance Company in Tupelo.  Allen enjoyed going to auctions, deer hunting, and fishing.  He was a member of Ozark Baptist Church.

Allen leaves behind his two children, Samantha Brereton (Mark) of Lineville, AL and Destry Stancil (Dana) of Mantachie; the mother of his children, Martha Wilburn Stancil of Mantachie; three grandchildren, Devin Pitts of Mantachie, Olivia Pitts Raines (Nicholas) of Summerville, GA, and Shey Stancil Bishop (Cody) of Fulton; his sister Amanda Bell Whitt (Russ) of Suwanee, GA; his brother, Sammy Whiteside of Atlanta; and nephews Mark Bishop, Daniel Bell, Tony Bell, Keith Bell and Kevin Bell.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carzell Stancil and Pauline Atkinson; a sister, Imogene (Jean) Bishop; and his grandmother, Mattie Queen Duckett.

The family honors Allen's request for no memorial services, however friends and family are welcome to leave their expressions of sympathy at this guest book.  It was his wish to have his ashes scattered in North Georgia where he was raised.  Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.  The family wishes to thank his church, Ozark Baptist, for their prayers and his friends for their support during his illness.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN, 38105
